Photo Essay

Tear of happiness

Rain photography is artful and dramatic for me, therefore I enjoy getting out into the rooftop garden and take some photos after the rain has just stopped. I always love to take the macro shot showing water droplets on the petal, leaf and other parts of the plant. Shooting pictures of raindrops and wet subjects are challenges for any photographers to use special skills and settings. Further composing in difficult situations and convey a poetic message is also a challenge.

This year in our eastern part of India we receive rain in the month of October and it may continue till November 2019. For me, it is a golden opportunity though I feel such late rain is due to climate change. Here are a few pictures for JPGMAG. com. Thanks!!
